Talking To Children Who May Have Been Harmed

Video of a Zoom Meeting

Here is a poor recording I made of a recent zoom course/meeting about talking to children that may have been harmed.

SESMA are members of the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership and this is a workshop that I was invited to attend.

It was fairly interesting, but I don’t think it covered some main issues and I would argue about some of the procedures that he discusses.

Watch through to the end, there is a point that he accidently shuts me out of the zoom meeting, but i do get let back in.

Think about some os the issues that we have discussed in our instructor training and decide where in the discussion that we differ on our advice and why.

I may ask you questions about it in class.

Also when the point in the video where we are put in to chat rooms and im asking questions to someone, what de-escalation tactic do I try to use?
